Fabiola has a finance background and works as Global Master Scheduler for a GE company. She is also the mother of a child who was formally diagnosed with ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) at the age of five.

Following the support she received from SEND and You (formerly Supportive Parents) at the time, she enrolled on a course for parents of children with autism. Listening to the experiences of other parents motivated her to help and to try and give something back to an organisation that has given so much to many parents.

Her work has given her a good introduction to the world of finance, which she felt would prepare her well for the role of Treasurer to the SEND and You trustees. She’s pleased to be able to use her skills to help such a worthy organisation.
