Applications for THE GREAT BRITISH BAKE OFF are NOW open!
Over the years, we’ve seen a number of disabled bakers rising to the top in the hallowed Bake Off tent, including the lovely Briony May Williams, and the creative Marc Elliot. This year, we saw Liverpudlian Lizzie Acker make her fantastic SEN celebration cake (which looked like the most delicious shag pile rug we’ve ever seen) representing her neurodiversity: Lizzie is dyslexic, dyspraxic, and lives with ADHD and concentration disorder.
If you think you could be the next big thing in baking, this is your time to shine! The Great British Bake Off tent can be adapted to meet any accessibility requirements, so make sure your application to join the cast of the Great British Bake Off is in by 19:59 on 5 December 2021 to be considered!
