Clive has wide experience with SEND as a teacher, senior school leader and specialist practitioner.

Among his specialist roles, Clive was Development Programme Co-ordinator with SAY’s predecessor, Supportive Parents in 2014-2016. A major responsibility in that post was ensuring the service met the requirements of Part 3 of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the associated Code of Practice, which had a huge impact on children and young people with SEND, their parents and carers and support professionals.

Clive also has extensive credentials in business leadership and management, including a number of charity trustee roles and business directorships.

Victoria is a trusted senior leader who brings together vision, structure and empathy to deliver sustained growth. Combining a people-first approach with operational excellence, she has a proven track record of building high-performing teams, streamlining operations and guiding organisations through fast-paced change.

Victoria is passionate about nurturing cultures of inclusion, trust and belonging.

Mike has wide experience within the voluntary sector.

He has worked with young people and adults with autism, dyslexia and learning disabilities for many years, and has family members with SEND.

Among his specialist roles Mike has had major responsibilities over more than 30 years as a director/senior executive responsible for governance, policy, development and management. His experience includes leading on major grant funding bids, service negotiations and agreements with local authorities and housing associations.

He is also a qualified mediator practitioner.

Rona is an experienced education professional with a specialist background in SEMH, alternative provision and secure settings. She brings expertise in curriculum design, assessment and intervention, with a particular focus on inclusive maths provision for learners with complex needs.

Rona has developed and embedded careers education and progression pathways in secure environments, using creative approaches to meet statutory requirements and Gatsby Benchmarks. Her work regularly involves collaboration with local authorities, social care, youth justice and health professionals, particularly around safeguarding and transition.

She holds the NPQSL, SENCo qualification and Careers Leader Award, and completed a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship examining secure education provision internationally.

Michael is a trained barrister with experience of SEND, mostly in Tribunal work on behalf of local authorities.
He is an accredited mediator with experience in SEND and community mediation.
After helping a friend with their appeal for an EHCP for their daughter, and seeing the difficulties faced by families, Michael volunteered to help SAY. He hopes we can encourage our LA’s to improve their service, particularly concerning the lawfulness of the decisions they make, for the sake of children, parents, and young people using the service.

Russell is the founder of Fueld, leading a team of performance marketing specialists delivering high-impact growth for health and wellbeing organisations.  With over 20 years’ experience in marketing, he brings expertise in helping organisations reach the right individuals and families with clear, accessible information, products and solutions.

He is also a parent of a neurodivergent child and has first-hand experience of how complex and challenging it can be to navigate SEN support, both for children and their families.

Russell joined SEND and You to support the organisation with increasing their reach and helping families to access clear, compassionate, and better joined-up support.

Conor is an account director at an advertising agency. From a stakeholder management perspective, he is comfortable working with board level and department leads in day to day and strategic affairs.

Conor is able to apply lived-in experience as a disabled person with professional experience to authentically represent SAY, and contribute to the organisation’s long term strategy and operational success.

Heidi has a wealth of change and project management experience having worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years to ensure the effective implementation of change. She brings strong strategic management, and communication skills.

She moved into the not-for-profit sector 8 years ago and has experience of working in charities who support children and young people, and has worked in finance & fundraising roles at Great Western Air Ambulance, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) and is a Fundraising Manager at Grief Encounter.

She is passionate about supporting SEN needs and of the role of SEND And You in the local community having experienced first-hand how important it is to get the right diagnosis and professional support for a child with learning challenges.
